Penrith Web is a Penrith
based internet publishing organisation in Australia which specialises in producing stunning
panoramic
photographs which we believe are among the most realistic, true to life
panoramas available on the net. Our panoramas transform static web pictures
into an interactive experience, giving the viewer the impression of actually
being there.
Not only are our
panoramas sharp, colourful and interactive, they are fast to download and will
work on any Java capable browser. (Unlike other versions which require
different plugins depending on the browser being used.) Netscape Navigator and
Internet Explorer are ideal.
The Java applet we
use is a tiny 14k and the cylindrical panorama files
which we produce are
approximately 100k each. That means download time is minimal, around 30 seconds with
a 28.8k modem and the image can be seen downloading so you are not left
looking at a blank box.

"Panorama
3", one of the viewing applets used at Penrith Web, is available from Philip

Although the
production of our 360º panoramas is quite time consuming and requires
specialised equipment and software, our pricing structure for producing such work is quite inexpensive.
Anyone, especially organisations promoting their regions via the internet, can
enhance their web sites with our panoramas for an extremely modest outlay.
Our
services also include commissioned panoramas. We will photograph your
nominated scene and transform it into a 360º panorama ready to be
published on the internet. For further information
regarding our newly updated production costs please visit our pricing
page.
Panoramas
are being added to our site on a regular basis, so be sure to visit us again.
